How does it technically work?

Speekz uses smart technology to recognise the TV shows or movies you’re watching and syncs commentary from creators. Speekz listens to the sound from your TV or computer speakers. This helps the app to figure out exactly what you’re watching, including the episode or scene. Don’t worry — Speekz does not store recordings from your surroundings.

How are you using my data?

At Speekz, we prioritise your privacy and data security. We do not share your audio or any related data with third parties. We do not sell your data for profiling, advertising, or any other purpose — nor do we have plans to do so in the future.

The data from your recordings is solely used for content matching, which is essential to providing the core functionality of the app. Once processed, the audio is not stored or retained.

Is Speekz available for Android?

Not yet, but it will be in the future. To be among the first to know when the Android version is released, you can join the Android waitlist by filling out the form at the bottom of this page.

When can I expect more shows and comedians on the platform?

We plan to add more shows and creators to the platform. If you have suggestions for movies, TV shows, or creators, please share them at support@speekz.app
